Lovely 4 Bed home in Lochwinnoch, Scotland

Our house is in the rural conservation village of Lochwinnoch. We are in easy walking distance of many leisure and recreation facilities, such as Castle Semple Loch which is part of the Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park and hosts a variety of watersports. An RSPB bird sanctuary is nearby. In the village there two convenience shops, a chemist, post office, bakery, newsagent and a traditional Italian cafe that was runner up in the Scottish Fish and Chip shop of the year! The rival cafe, the junction features fine home baking and a range of deli type goods. There are several other excellent eateries and a local farmer shop a couple of doors down. There are three pubs in Lochwinnoch one of which is renowned for its real ales and occasional folk nights.

Glasgow is about 20 minutes away by car, Edinburgh about 1 hour. Crossing the Erskine bridge and you find yourself in the Highlands in about an hour.

We have a wood burning stove and a secluded garden with play areas for children including a sand pit and trampoline. The master bedroom is ensuite. Although we have four bedrooms sleeping five, we also have a couch in the living room which folds down into a comfortable bed.
