Lovely, traditional stone cottage in beautiful Brittany countryside, on the edge of the little market town of La Roche Derrien. River views, wood-burning stove, enclosed garden, with mature apple trees. Fitted kitchen, children's toy-box, well-behaved dogs welcome.

Use the house as a base for rambling, water-sports, shopping trips or excursions to one of the many stunning local beaches. Make the most of the picnic tables on the river bank, opposite the cottage. Brittany boasts a staggering third of France's whole coastline. From rocky coves to sandy shores, you will find it all here; practically on your doorstep. Excellent local food shops, including a deli, a bakery, bank and a general store. Market comes to town once a week.

About the location

Fabulous Brittany, Cote de la Granit Rose. Roche is a small town with a central square, medieval half-timber houses and plenty of charm. It is on the edge of the river Jaudy and near some stunning beaches.
