Our tall bright flat has a double bedroom and shower room upstairs on its mezzanine level, with glass balustrade. Downstairs is the living room/kitchen with balcony and the utility room/downstairs loo. There is a double sofa bed downstairs. It’s small but perfect.
About the location
The Barbican estate is in the heart of the fascinating City of London and its arts centre provides an extensive, high profile programme of theatre, music, film, art and dance. During the pandemic things are quieter and the Barbican is a peaceful residential estate with private gardens, library, gallery, conservatory, a church and an ornamental lake. It is lovely.
Transport links are fantastic - Barbican, Moorgate and St Pauls tube stations are nearby; lots of bus routes; or pick up a taxi at the arts centre entrance.
Direct tube journey to Stratford near the Olympic park as well as fast links to the West End and shopping, theatres.
Locally, pubs and restaurants abound. Close by, Clerkenwell has great restaurants and pubs, and Angel Islington is a hop on the bus.
