Local outdoor swimming pool, sports fields, leisure centre and many other things to do.
Two prominent golf courses, riding stables and the famous Luhmuehlen cross country riding course as well as canouing are possible in the area.
About the location
Only 40 minutes from Hamburg. Heide Park Soltau and the Outlet Village are only 45 minutes away. Luebeck and Travemuende for access to Scandinavia and lovely sandy beaches are just 90 minutes away by car or train. The historical medieval town of Lueneburg with charming cafes and a large variety of shops and museums is just round the corner. Berlin, Hannover and Bremen are all within reach for a daytrip by car or train.
