Home 35 mins from Stonehenge

We have a 2 bedroomed home in the village of Chilbolton near Stockbridge in Hampshire. It's a detached home.

We have WiFi and a Sonos music system, from where you can listen to your own downloaded music, or ours; whichever you prefer. Family live close by so are on hand to help with any worries, or with suggestions of places to visit locally.

A 2+2 Mercedes Cabriolet is available for simultaneous swap only.

About the location

We live in a great location close to historic Stonehenge, with Salisbury and Winchester Cathedrals and the beautiful historic Romsey Abbey nearby. Our closest town is Stockbridge and we are also close to Winchester and Andover. We are 1 hour from Windsor Castle, 1 hour train ride from central London. Portsmouth is 45 minutes away and has daily ferries to France and the Isle of Wight. You can visit the beautiful French harbour of Honfleur just for the weekend - or, of course, for longer. Eurotunnel is only 2 hours drive from our home and a 35 minute train ride later, you will be in Callais. But we also have our own wonderful historic places to visit, all around us. Andover is well situated in the centre of the south. 4 hours west takes you to Land’s End in Cornwall, passing through the charming counties of Wiltshire, Somerset and Devon en route. We are 2 hours from Shakespeare Country and 1 hour from Blenheim Palace. Bournemouth and the coast are less than an hour from our home.

Easy to spend a night at The Royal Albert Hall in London, or the BIC in Bournemouth for music / ballet or maybe opera. Lots available within easy reach of our home.
