Our wonderful area is named 3-contries-corner (Germany/Austria/Switzerland).
Wangen is a historical baroque town and air healthy resort and here are a lot of possibilities for adventure, sports, sight-seeing, wellness and spa, nature-lovers and mountain-friends.

About the location

You have to the supermarkets and the bus/train station only some minutes and to the center of town 10 minutes also on foot.

We have bikes which you can use.

The old part of Wangen is really worth seeing, because of the old buildings, many wells, churches, museum, market place…and there are many national and international good restaurants.

Our nice public open air swimming pool (Mai-Sept) and behind the public ice-rink for ice-skating (Okt.-Febr.) are reachable in 15 min. on foot or some few minutes by bike.

We are living in a cycle tour region.
If you like walking, hiking, cycling or mountain biking, Wangen and the surrounding offer you different special tours. Also the Lake of Constance offers you further possibilities. You can also go to the highest mountain over the lake Constance. That is the Pfänder in Bregenz. On the top you have the best view from the lake and overlooking Switzerland, Austria and Germany. www.pfaender.at

Furthermore you can enjoy a walk around the little lakes in Wangen nearby or along the river Argen, which is crossing our town.

The glider airport in the next village and the zeppelin airport in Friedrichshafen offer you a fly over the Lake of Constance and our lovely region.

The most famous castle is the castle Neuschwanstein, from King Ludwig 2nd in Füssen (1,5 hours by car). www.neuschwanstein.de

The little airports Friedrichshafen and Memmingen are 45 min. far away by car and about 1 h by train. You can also take the airport Munich, Stuttgart or Zürich.
