The house is set on 2 semi-rural acres in the Byron Bay Hinterland in the far north of New South Wales. Our road is a cul-de-sac (no through road) just a 15-minute drive from Byron Bay town centre. The property is mainly lawn with large trees on the boundaries. There are lovely rural views from the front deck and from the rear deck, you will see a sub-tropical garden

The house has 2 bedrooms. The downstairs area of the house is very open-plan with the living and dining areas separated by the kitchen area. There is also a very large utility area with lots of storage space. We do not have a telephone in the house, so use Messenger, WhatsApp etc, via our unlimited data wi-fi/broadband

There are 3 airports within easy driving distance: Ballina/Byron about 25 minutes away, Gold Coast about 45 minutes away and Brisbane about 2 hours 15 minutes away.

The property is not suitable for young children or pets

Use of a car may be possible - the insurance excess is $300 in case of any accidents i.e. you have to pay the first $300 of any claim made on our car insurance if you were at fault

About your area: The property is rural but within walking-distance of neighbours and just a short drive to cafes and restaurants in Bangalow, Mullumbimby and Byron Bay. The nearest beach is just 15 minutes away where you can surf (or learn to surf), hang-glide, scuba-dive, snorkel, swim, kayak or just walk along the sand

There is walking/hiking in several nearby national parks including World Heritage Listed Mount Warning. In the surrounding Nightcap, Border Ranges, Springbrook and Lamington National Parks, species of the sub-tropical and temperate zones overlap in a unique environment to provide spectacular rain-forest scenery with natural streams and brooks, abundant bird and wildlife.

There is also the wonderful Tweed Regional Gallery in Murwillumbah about 45 minutes away and lots of smaller local galleries in Byron Bay
