The house is set amongst a lovely garden in the charming, small town of Mullumbimby in the far north of New South Wales. We are just a 25-minute drive from Byron Bay.

The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with showers. The living area is open-plan with a good size kitchen area. We do not have a telephone in the house, so use Messenger, WhatsApp etc, via our unlimited data wi-fi/broadband

There are 2 airports within easy driving distance: Ballina/Byron about 25 minutes away, Gold Coast about 45 minutes away. The large Brisbane Airport is about 2 hours 30 minutes away.

The property is not suitable for young children or pets

About the location

About your area: The property is a 5-minute walk to the the centre of town where you will find lots of restaurants and cafes. The nearest beach is just a 20-minute drive away in Brunswick Heads where you can rent a kayak or small motor-boat . Byron Bay is also just a 20-minute drive away where you can sun-bake, surf (or learn to surf), hang-glide, scuba-dive, snorkel, swim, kayak or just walk along the sand on one of the best bays in the world. A short walk from our house is a large public swimming pool

There is walking/hiking in several nearby national parks including World Heritage Listed Mount Warning. In the surrounding Nightcap, Border Ranges, Springbrook and Lamington National Parks, species of the sub-tropical and temperate zones overlap in a unique environment to provide spectacular rain-forest scenery with natural streams and brooks, abundant bird and wildlife.

There is also the wonderful Tweed Regional Gallery in Murwillumbah about 25 minutes away from us and lots of smaller local galleries in Mullumbimby, Brunswick Heads and Byron Bay
