Totnes is a medieval market town in South Devon, an area known as the South Hams.
It has a bohemian atmosphere, full of quirky shops and has a vibrant market on Fridays and Saturdays. The town is also on the River Dart, you can take a steamer or ferry down the river to Dartmouth. It`s also within an easy drive to the many beaches for watersports, or Dartmoor if you prefer walking.
Totnes also has a mainline railway station.
