Spacious flat with garden, beach-seaside town, suitable for a family or a group of 8-10 people.
There are: 3 triple bedrooms, a baby cot, 2 bathrooms, a large living room, a kitchen, a walled and secluded terrace for your "al fresco" dinners.
The accommodation is ideal for children as it provides a lot of toys and rooms where to play.
It`s located half a mile from the main sandy beaches.
Local amenities include: supermarkets, restaurants, cafès and shops.
There is a local bus stop nearby with buses that can take you to Formia (the local railway station) and to the beach. You may use our bicycles if you`re interested as there are many cycle paths in town and the town is easier to be explored by bike
The nearest cities are: Rome (one and a half hour by train), Naples (1 hour by train), Pompei, MonteCassino (Abbey) and Ponza`s, Capri`s and Ventotene`s isles.
You may use the local buses (nearby the flat) or our bikes to get to to the long sandy beaches.

About the location

Gaeta is a very popular sea town located on the west coast between Rome and Naples. It offers long sandy beaches ideal for families, but it is also an historical town (superb moedieval castle on the sea). Local amenities include: supermarkets, restaurants, cafès and shops, cycle paths (you may use our bikes), pizzerias, ice cream shops, water sports (canoes and pedalos can be hired at 15 €, fantastic sea excursions by boat available at 20€ per person). The beach is ideal for families and groups and it has got a lot of bathhouses.
There is a local bus stop nearby with buses to Formia (the local railway station).
The nearest tourists attractions are: Rome (one and half hour by train), Naples (1 hour by train), Pompei, MonteCassino Abbey, war cimiteries, Sperlonga, Terracina and Capri`s, Ponza`s and Ventotene`s isles. Florence could be a suitable excursion fore the weekend

We are a non smoker family with two girls (aged 16 and 9). I am a middle/secondary school teacher (classics and special needs) and my husband is a retired policeman.
Our house is not perfect, being a second house, we aren`t looking for anything luxurious but only for something suitable for our needs.
