About the location

The apartment is almost next door to the Portsmouth-Gosport ferry terminal. 10 minute ferry ride to Portsmouth Harbour train and bus stations. We have used the National bus service from Heathrow to and from Portsmouth harbour and have found it very convenient. Approx 2 hours 15 minutes There is a similar service to and from Gatwick which we believe takes just over an hour. Trains form Portsmouth to London take approx 1hour 30 minutes.
Gosport is a small town with some interesting buildings. It is close to the beautiful New Forest -half an hour`s drive, the Portsmouth dockyard with several outstanding attractions like the Mary Rose museum and the Spinnaker.
It is also convenient for visiting the Isle of Wight and the beach at Southsea.
Ferries to Brittany,Normandy and Northern Spain leave Portsmouth most days of the week.
