Heritage Mediterranean townhouse in the center of Fornells

We invite you to our holiday home in Fornells, Menorca.

Our house is located in the center of the village, on a quiet street with no way out. It is a detached house with a large yard and a separate apartment, which is what we offer.
It consists of a living room, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a small patio next to the kitchen where you will have acces to the washing machine . The house has all the amenities you will need during your holidays: air conditioning in the main rooms, Wi-Fi, TV per cable, fully equipped kitchen... All the rooms are exterior, and the house can host 6 people comfortably.

We have neighbors on both sides of the house. They are very friendly, quiet and respectful people.

The airport is located 25 kms away, in Mahon, the capital of the island. The best way to visit the island is by car, so we suggest you renting a car upon your arrival.

About the location

Menorca is one of the three biggest islands of the Balearic Archipelago (Spain).It is located in the North East.
It was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO.
Fornells is located in the Northen coast of Menorca. A beautiful natural harbor that surprises all the visitors. This traditional fishing village has become a place of reference thanks to its restaurants, sailors fresh products, and a variety of water sports that can be practiced in the shelter of the large bay. In their traditional white Mediterranean homes, the inhabitants of Fornells have always led a quiet life, respecting nature and its surroundings. Here you will find peace, away from the crowds, as it remains a very local.

The second color of Fornells after white is blue, is in the crystal clear waters of the harbor. Not surprisingly, the entire area around the port it was declared a Marine Reserve.
The bay contains four coves and three small islands which inhabit the Balearic sargantana (a typical lizard from the area). The salt found at the bottom of the bay come to complement the landscape and ecological set of first order.

Thanks to the shelter offered by the narrow mouth of the harbor and 5 kms. of deep and 2 kms. amplitude of the bay, water sports have a unique place in Fornells. In its calm waters you can practice windsurfing, sailing, kayaking and diving. The wind is usually moderate and sufficient for surfers, seabeds are full of life for divers and pristine beaches only accessible by sea are the delight of those who practice kayaking.

By land, the entire northern area offers a complete landscape for hikers and trekkers. Riding, cycling, mountain biking and golf are only part of the land sports that can be practiced.
