Hafan Wen, Uplands, Swansea
Our lovely house was built in 1910 and is a typical British Edwardian style home. The house retains all its original features, including fireplaces, ornate plasterwork and staircase. The kitchen/diner has been updated to become the modern hub of the home. There is a sun room and terrace overlooking the Bristol Channel and the north Devon coastline. Our home provides parking for two cars to the rear where shutter doors provide complete security.
There is wifi access throughout the house. On the ground floor, there is a large study with a double futon to accommodate two guests.
There is a very comfortable lounge with cable TV on the ground floor and two bedrooms, dressing room and bathroom on the first. The top floor is a studio with wonderful views of Mumbles village to the west.
There is seating on the terrace for summer evenings looking out over the channel with a glass or two of something cool!
Two married daughters with their young families live nearby. They will be on hand to help and support in any way you may need.
We are very experienced travellers... lived and worked abroad several times and have lived in Australia for a few years recently. Needless to say your home would be respected and cared for as we do our own. Ours is a strictly non-smoking home.
