The city of Geelong is a half hour away and Melbourne airport 1 1/2 hour drive. Take the train to Melbourne CBD (1 hour from Geelong) or a 15 min drive to seaside suburb of Portarlington and catch the ferry to Docklands.
Historic town of Queenscliff is a 30 min drive where you can catch the Ferry to Sorrento.
