A large, family home in a friendly "inner-west" Sydney suburb. On the ground floor there is a large linked living / dining / gourmet kitchen with French doors onto a large terrace (with table seating 10). There is a double bedroom and a study / guest room with queen sofa bed. Between the two is a bathroom with bath.

Upstairs there are two double bedrooms and a small bathroom / shower.

There is a large garden with a studio and sheds. We have brought up a family in the house and it is child friendly. There are currently no pets.

About the location

The house is 3 minutes walk from a light-rail line and 10 minutes walk from rail stations. Both link to central Sydney (the train takes 11 minutes). Within 10 minutes drive you can access the freeways that take you either west out of Sydney to the Blue Mountains or south west to the Southern Highlands, South Coast and Canberra .

There is an excellent cafe 100m from the house. The suburbs of Dulwich Hill and Summer Hill - both with great restaurants and local shops - are both 10 minutes walk. There are several parks nearby and we are 300m from the new Greenway bike path to the city.

Sydney airport is a 25 minute taxi ride but the area gets very little noise from planes. Bondi is also a 25 minute drive.
