The area is fabulous. The small town of Collioure is clustered around the harbour. Small shops and restaurants face all of the 3 local beaches. The water is shallow by the beach. Ideal for children.

There are great places to eat, castles and museums to visit and great walks. The sun shines most of the year. You can walk everywhere. The local station has trains to everywhere in Europe and there are very cheap buses too. It is perfect for holidays.
