The house is situated in the Ironbridge Gorge area, just a mile up from the famous Iron Bridge itself. It is in the heart of a small town with all amenities on the doorstep, including a good selection of local shops and award-winning restaurants. As well as being in easy driving distance from North Wales, you can explore the fantastic Shropshire borders with great hill-walking (E.g. Offa's Dyke) and historic towns (e.g.Ludlow and Shrewsbury which both boast excellent markets and restaurants.) There is a good train service between Telford and Birmingham if you need the buzz of the city. Trains also run via Birmingham to London (about 2.5 hours).
