About the location

The village is at the foot of the Mendip Hills, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and beyond there are the Somerset levels. Walking and cycling are excellent and there are many places to visit around the area - caves in Cheddar and Wookey Hole within 15 minutes drive as well as England's smallest city with its magnifient cathedral just 6 miles away. The coast (Weston super mare and Clevedon are about 45 mins drive and further afield there is the North Somerset coast and Exmoor with the Dorset coast to the South.
