Our Victorian home overlooks the River Tay estuary with stunning views across to Dundee

We have a five bedroom victorian detached house on a hill with beautiful views over the river Tay. We have a large rocky garden with ponds and a stream. There is off street parking. Our house is modernised and retains special features such as corniced ceilings, pine stairs/doors and stained glass windows. Downstairs there is a large kitchen dining room, a large sitting room with log burning stove, a further sitting room/fifth bedroom next to the utility and shower room and a conservatory. Upstairs there is a master en suite bedroom, a further two double bedrooms and a twin bedroom. There is a heated swimming pool (8 metres in length with swim jet) in a wooden chalet at the rear of the house.

About the location

There is so much to do and see in Fife and Angus. We love walking and cycling from our doorstep and there are many beaches in the area. Dundee city is across the Tay, three miles away. It has plenty to offer in terms of shopping and restaurants and features Captain Scott`s ship the Discovery, next to the new V and A museum of design, which opens in 2018. Nearby Camperdown park offers walks, a wildlife centre and large childrens playground. There are castles, golf courses and beautiful coastal walks in Angus as well as in Fife. Our house is 11 miles from St Andrews, popular with golfers and people who love culture and history. The coastal villages of the East Neuk of Fife are very special. There are historic Castles and Gardens open to the public in abundance. Edinburgh can be easily reached and takes one hour on the train. Our house is one hour`s drive from Edinburgh Airport.
