Wales, Penally

Located in the heart of the historic village of Penally near the Abbey (now a country hotel with a fabulous restaurant and a 13th century church is our rustic cottage, converted with open plan living layout and spiral stair and some eclectic decor and colour theming inspired from our travels around the world. The cottage directly overlooks a 13th Century church spire, then out further along a links golf course (Tenby Golf Club is the oldest course in Wales) and, of course, to the ocean. We are just five minutes walk to the beach and Pembrokeshire Coastal National Park.

About the location

We live in an area of outstanding naturtal beauty. The rugged coastline is famous for being the only Coastal National Park in the U.K. and quite deservedly so. When you leave the cottage to head for the beach on foot, five minutes later you are walking on sand with the option of walking into Tenby town where you will find its delightful harbour, a wide array of shops, cafes, restaurtants and pubs to choose from and that's just the town. Were you to turn in the other direction and ascend onto the headland of Giltar Point you will find yourself directly on the Coastal Path which offers miles upon miles of excursion in either direction of Amroth or to St Davids. You will find Penally as a village not only ideally situated but very tranquil and the locals are friendly are welcoming.
