We have a bright and spacious 4 bed modern house with off street parking and an enclosed garden. Our house is set back from the road, through the archway shown in the picture, down a private driveway so it is quiet and secluded. Upstairs, we have a master bedroom with queen size bed and en suite shower room, a spare bedroom with a queen size bed and two children`s bedrooms. Both of these have full size single beds with additional single mattresses underneath for additional guests. We also have a large family bathroom with separate bath and shower. Downstairs we have a shower room, a playroom with piano and Xbox and a living room with sliding doors that open in to a large kitchen/dining room. At the dining end of this room are patio doors leading to the garden and at the kitchen end there is a walk through pantry leading into the utility room and back door to the garden. Much of our house has recently been renovated; we have a new kitchen with dishwasher, drawer fridge, integrated freezer and double range cooker with gas hob. The utility room has a washing machine with dryer and an additional fridge freezer. Oak wood flooring has also recently been fitted over most of the ground floor and all bathrooms have just been upgraded. We would ask that the house and garden plants are watered when needed.

About the location

A few minutes` walk turning right from our house you will find St Margaret`s Park which has tennis courts, a bowling green and a play area. A few minutes` walk to the left you will find St John`s Road which has shops, cafes, restaurants, banks, chemists etc and plenty of bus stops for the centre of Edinburgh which is roughly 20 mins away. We are also within walking distance of Edinburgh Zoo and Corstorphine Hill/Woods. For those wanting to explore beyond Edinburgh, we are a short drive from the M8 motorway, enabling you easy access to Glasgow, Perth and beyond.

If you are travelling without a car, there are plenty of interesting places accessible by public transport. Our closest train stations are Haymarket and South Gyle and there are plenty of buses to take you to the centre of town and beyond.
