Broomfold Mill
Our home is a traditional granite Mill, converted in 2011 to also incorporate one of the original outbuildings. The house is very rural (at the end of a 1km private road), with lots of floor to ceiling windows to enjoy the views in all directions. The living room has a wood-burning stove, there are 3 bedrooms (each with a double bed and bathroom), a TV room, and gym.
About the location
There is lots of great walking and cycling from the front door. The house is rural, but the nearby village of Torphins (15 mins by road) has Co-op / pharmacy / GP etc. The nearest towns are Banchory and Aboyne. Aberdeen is 20 miles (35 mins) away. The house is an ideal base for exploring Royal Deeside, the Cairngorms (visible on the horizon) and Speyside, and the beaches of the Moray Firth are an hour away.
