Threeways Cottage
Our home is located in the beautiful and secluded Cusop Dingle, which is only a ten minute walk into Hay-on-Wye, the town of Books. The cottage sits on a hillside overlooking the Dulas Brook, which forms the border between England and Wales and rolling hills that lead up to the Black Mountains. Offa Dykes National Footpath can be seen from our kitchen window, perfect viewing whilst you drink coffee. The cottage was once three separate homes but with recent renovations and an extension it has cottage charm with a modern feel. It has three bedrooms upstairs, with a bath and shower. Downstairs there are two separate rooms with a double-sided wood-burner, a large kitchen and a back room with a pull out sofa bed and an en-suite bathroom.
About the location
Hay-on-Wye offers unique shops, restaurants, even a cinema. There is plenty of incredible walking, into both the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons, as well as cycling and canoeing down the stunning River Wye. Hereford, famous for the Mappa Mundi, is only a 35 minute drive away, whilst Cardiff, the Capital of Wales is only an hour away. Bristol is only an hour and a half away. With near by train and bus networks, you could get to Hay-on-Wye without a car but with one you can explore more of the local area.
