Large Terrace House - Norwich

Our home is a large terrace house in the golden triangle area of Norwich. We are a two minute walk (across a zebra crossing) to a great parade of shops with a small co-op, local butcher, post office, Indian and Chineses restaurants and an organic green grocers and cafe.

There is a lovely park about 10 minutes walk, which is great for young children and also dogs. The University of Norwich and surrounding parkland is about a 5 minute drive away, it feels like you are in the countryside with some brilliant walks.

There are excellent local schools, the infant school is very close by. And we can walk into the centre of Norwich in about 12 minutes! And of course the Norfolk Broads are about 20 minutes by car, and the beautiful Norfolk coast takes about 45 minutes to get to by car. The train station by bike is about 12 minutes away, with trains to London that take under two hours.

Our house is lovely! It is on a main road, and from the front bedroom you can hear car traffic. But our front garden is quite large and raised up from the road, and from the downstairs front room, you can’t actually see the traffic. We have 3 reception rooms and a kitchen downstairs, with a WC under the stairs. Our kitchen opens up on to a wisteria lined courtyard, with steps up to a very long garden with mature trees. This is perfect for a family, we are not overlooked by any houses, and at the end of the garden you feel like you are in the countryside, it’s beautiful. We have fab neighbours too! Upstairs, we have 2 large bedrooms and 2 smaller bedrooms, and a WC and shower as well as a family bathroom. There are stripped wooden floors throughout and original sash windows.
