London terraced house

We are looking to exchange or let our beautiful, spacious three-bedroom Victorian terraced house in Brockley, South East London in exchange for a countryside setting where we can mountain bike and swim.

The house has been recently (and very lovingly) renovated, retaining original Victorian features and character. It includes three large and airy bedrooms (one with a king size bed, one with a double bed, and one with a double sofa bed - alternatively this room can be used as an office/second living room), a bathroom with shower and bathtub, a modern kitchen/dining room (including range cooker, dishwasher, and underfloor heating), a cosy lounge with a projector for movie nights, a second large office/workshop space, and a lush garden with a pizza oven.

The house is located on a residential street in the heart of Brockley, a green and leafy neighbourhood with a great range of independent shops, pubs, cafes and fantastic local restaurants, and an independent cinema at nearby Goldsmiths. More lively areas such as Peckham, Brixton and Shoreditch are all within easy reach. Hilly Fields, Telegraph Hill and Nunhead Cemetery are all within close walking distance, offering beautiful open green space and views over the city.

We have a three year old dog, but depending on where we swap, she will most likely stay with our parents. We would also ask you to water our much loved collection of house plants (pictured).

We may also be able to arrange for bikes and/or a car to be available to you.
The house is fully furnished, including bedding, linen, towels, etc.

About the location

Brockley train station (3 minutes walk from the house) connects you to central or East London (7 minutes to London Bridge station; 17 minutes to Shoreditch High Street station) - trains run all night at the weekend. There is a bus stop right by the house for connections around South London (including night buses). Easy connections to airports - especially Gatwick.

The house is ideally located for universities including Goldsmiths ( 10 mins by foot), Camberwell College of Arts (10 mins by bus), London College of Communication (20 minutes by bus) or all central and East London universities (UAL, KCL, LSE, UCL, SOAS, LSBU, QMUL, UEL etc. are all easily accessible by public transport).
