Guillemot - St Ives

I am extremely sorry to disappoint, but the restoration is taking longer than anticipated and I will keep everyone interested informed of progress...

But, it should be a state of the art Scandi style architect designed St Ives cottage, perhaps complete with wood burning stove, but still cosy with a sense of space and retaining a traditional style. Terry Frost, one of St Ives original artists, once lived here with his family. I have a beautiful studio in the top room, complete with wonderful beams, which is also a great chill-out area with a smidgeon of a view, all within the sound of the waves from two sides..

About the location

St Ives is a renowned artists colony and my cottage is set in Down`long, the old picturesque part of St Ives, where all the artists used to gather and still do! Guillemot is a stone`s throw away from Bamaluz beach and The Wharf and Smeatons Pier, with numerous coffee/teashops and the town`s attractions and galleries, including the Tate just round the corner.
