Ayamonte is a town and municipality in the province of Huelva, which is situated in the autonomous community of Andalusia, sitting just on the border with Portugal.

The town is the most western resort in Andalusia on the Costa de la Luz, situated at the mouth of the Guadiana River. The views to the river and surrounding scenery are stunning and Ayamonte is also close to the wonderful beaches of Isla Canela and Punta del Moral.

Technical note of the Golf course:

The field has a route of 6,584 meters, and is integrated into the descent into the marshes of the Guadiana and overlooking the sea and the town of Ayamonte. This is a more technical course than other courses as the streets of nine of its holes pass through a terrain similar to the hardest origins of golf in Scotland, trying to imitate the most traditional terrain of this country.

Being located in a natural reserve, some of its streets are protected area, without high vegetation, and being more exposed to natural elements, which causes an extra difficulty in the practice of this sport.
