Cotswold stone house surrounded by an attractive, secluded garden - Somerset

Our home is a 250sq m property 6 miles south of Bath and within day tripping distance to London, Bristol, the Cotswolds, the south coast and Wales. It is comfortably furnished and surrounded by a large garden with several sunny seating areas including an attractive summerhouse with a swing seat and fireplace. There is off street car parking and a short gravel drive leading to the village High Street and plenty of local walks and cycleways.

It is a four bedroomed house filled with books and artworks and regretfully is not very suitable for families with young children. We are keen to swap with similar couples and we offer guests our two spare double bedrooms and family bathroom with walk in shower as well as our sitting room, well equipped, sunny kitchen and dining room.

About the location

Wellow is an exceptional village with a community shop, traditional pub (the Fox and Badger), 14th century church and an ancient 5000-year-old Longbarrow nearby. There are plenty of attractive walks through around Wellow which is located within the Cotswold Area of Outstanding National Beauty (AONB) and next to several level cycle routes that can take you along canals and direct into the city of Bath.

Cat lovers are especially welcome as we have a pretty Burmese to be looked after, but we regret no other pets can visit as she is quite timid.
