About the location

St Andrews/Bishopston area is really leafy with period houses and laid back atmosphere. We have a great park very nearby which is the perfect place to relax or take the children. Within 10 minute walk of a lively high street with Bars/Restaurants and independent shops.

It is walkable (30 mins) to the centre of Bristol and within about 20 minutes of bohemian and artistic areas (think Banksy art). If you don`t like to walk there is a bus stop 1 minute away from the house that takes you directly into the centre (15 mins).

We are also a short drive or longish walk to Clifton which has beautiful Georgian buildings and a world famous suspension bridge spanning the Avon gorge.

The house is also well situated to escape the city by car, you can be on the motorway in about 7 minutes. From there you can enjoy the rest of the Westcountry/Bath/Cotswolds/South Wales or a slightly longer drive London (alternatively catch a train).

If you don`t know much about Bristol look it up, it has been recommended as the best place to live in the UK and it`s residents have most recently been recognised as the kindest!

Finally, we also do Air Bnb (superhosts) so we are used to preparing the house and welcoming guests. If you`re here to see your son/daughter at one of the two universities we would be a perfect stay.
