Newcastle - 165 km North of Sydney

Lovely Federation home in heart of Newcastle, within walking distance of restaurants, shops, parks, the harbour and beaches. While the house is very centrally located, it offers space, comfort and privacy, a peaceful retreat.

It is actually a five bedroom home but only three are available for sleeping - one upstairs with ensuite, and two downstairs. The other two rooms are used for an office and art room.

There is a formal lounge room in the front of the house and a spacious open plan living and dining area off a large kitchen at the back. These rooms open onto a generous deck overlooking a private back yard and garden.

There is a second bathroom downstairs, and a third toilet off the laundry adjacent to the back deck. There is a double garage and, if we are travelling in Australia, one car space would be available there. Otherwise there is ample off street parking on the side driveway.

About the location

Our home is a moments walk to Hamilton`s shops, restaurants and parks; and within walking distance of Throsby Waters, Newcastle Harbour, and several beautiful local beaches - Nobbys, Newcastle, Bar and Merewether.

Getting about is easy. It is a five minute walk to local buses and trains; a half hour drive to Newcastle Airport; less than a two hour drive to Sydney.

Other attractions within a forty minute drive include Lake Macquarie to the south, Hunter Valley vineyards to the west and Port Stephens to the north.

Newcastle offers all the amenity of a busy city but at a gentler pace than Sydney.
