Family Home in York

We have a traditional style 1930s style semidetached 4-bedroom house just over a mile from the centre of the Historic city of York.

The house features a modern, fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and large fridge freezer and underfloor heating, 2 comfortable sitting rooms both with wood burners and a dining room downstairs. Upstairs we have 2 large double bedrooms, a large twin bedroom and a small bedroom with a cot bed. There is an upstairs family bathroom and a downstairs toilet with shower.

We have a large garden with a small pond, climbing frame and trampoline. There is a bbq and pizza oven and garden furniture if you wish to eat outside. The garden backs on to a lake which provides spectacular views and lots of wildlife.

We have 2 friendly affectionate cats who you would need to feed and occasionally pet and let out the back door.

About the location

We have loads of nearby amenities; we are just over a mile from beautiful York city centre, which features restaurants, art galleries, theatres and museums. York is steeped in history, has a 13th century cathedral, is surrounded by medieval walls and The Shambles which was the inspiration for Harry Potters Diagon Alley.

We are situated near a large leisure complex featuring a cinema, football stadium, swimming pool and climbing wall. There are several supermarkets and department stores close by.

We are well placed for day trips to the Yorkshire Dales, Dalby Forest, the Beautiful Yorkshire coastline and the seaside towns of Scarborough and Whitby.
