3 bedroom flat in fantastic listed central building - Glasgow

My flat is part of a converted former church - originally built in 1888 & converted into flats in the late 80`s.

The building is fab, with a memorable entryway, and then up to the first (and top) floor to the flat.

The flat itself is a duplex, with an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area downstairs, and 2 large, light & airy bedrooms, each with a large skylight, and a small box-room and the bathroom upstairs. This is my home & I live with my lovely flatmate & would generally be travelling with her or with family.

I used to rent my spare rooms on Airbnb for over 2 years before my flatmate moved in so I know how to be a clean, tidy & respectful guest.

Bedroom 1 has a double bed and sofa that can be converted into a double or 2 singles. Please note that the blind for this room does not close so might not be the best option if the sun will wake you in the summer time.

Bedroom 2 has 1 double bed, dressing table and the comfiest armchair you will ever get stuck in! There are blinds for both windows in this room but the skylight blind needs use of a long pole which is fun in the summer time ;)

Bedroom 3 is a small box-room with no windows (so great for anyone who needs pitch darkness when they sleep!) but has a double sofa bed, small chest of drawers & an open wardrobe.

TV in the living room comes with a DVD player and fairly extensive dvd collection (don`t judge me, it`s been going since I was about 13!) plus Netflix, NOWTV, Disney+ & Amazon Prime subscriptions, as well as a PS4 and a small selection of games. I also have a good selection of family board games. We also have excellent superfast fibre internet for your use!

The kitchen has an electric oven & hobs, plus big fridge-freezer & washing machine, and a variety of small appliances including microwave, kettle, toastie-maker, blender etc. the bathroom has an over-bath electric shower.

About the location

The area is incredibly handy, the flat is central Glasgow, smack bang in-between the city centre and the west end, both in easy (15-20 mins) walking distance, but in a quiet, mostly residential neighbourhood. For a traditional Scottish fish & chips supper, there`s a good local chippy 5 minutes down the street called Prego - and everywhere delivers. There`s also an excellent wee pizza place about 2 minutes` away - you can see it from the front door- Rockvilla which does an excellent and extremely well-priced pizza. I also recommend their balsamic onions - moreish!

The flat comes with free off-street parking and is 5 minutes walk away from a subway stop. It`s also not far from the motorway so the airport should be no more than a 20 minute drive. 30 in rush hour.
