Spurfield Cottages

Our house dates back to 1868 and is tucked away but in the centre of the village. We have 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms, a lounge, kitchen/dining room and a snug with wood burner. The rooms are tastefully decorated and we have good WiFi and phone reception. We have a large garden with patio area with outside dining area. We have a beautiful ginger cat called Winston. You are welcome to use our kayaks on the local canal or at nearby beaches.

About the location

Exminster lies just outside the historic city of Exeter. From our house you can walk or drive to the canal for a spot of lunch at one of the lock pubs. It is a 20 minute drive to the beaches of Dawlish Warren, Dawlish or Exmouth and several other beaches are close by. You can also do watersports on the canal. Haldon Forest is a 10 minute drive. Topsham, Darts Farm, Exeter and Powderham Castle and Budleigh are just some of the places we suggest you visit. If you fancy a round of golf, or just a spot of fun on a driving range then Exminster Golf Club is a short walk from our house.
