There is off road parking for 2 cars. There are great views all around. An excellent walking base, with plenty of good walks from the house. The garden is large with sitting areas.

Keswick is a popular market town and tourist centre within the Lake District National Park, Derwent Water is only a mile away and can be reached by walking along wooded footpaths.
There is a local bus service.
The English lake District has a lot to offer, it's also not far to Hadrians Wall and Lanercost Priory.
Surrounding towns include Ambleside, Cockermouth, Windermere, Maryport , Whitehaven and Penrith.
Nearest large town is Carlisle
