Heron Cottage

Hi Heron cottage is a holiday home which is located in the centre of the beautiful and historic village of Castle Acre in the heart of Norfolk. The cottage itself is very comfortable and a traditional country style with a modern twist. Great Wi-Fi and a wood burner in the living room for you to enjoy on a evening if required. If you open the front door you can almost touch a medieval gate which once formed the entrance into the village. All the usual amenities and the cottage is very clean and well presented. The cottage also benefits from its own parking place within a private courtyard. There’s also a small courtyard/garden at the back of the cottage where you can sit and enjoy the peace and quiet and perhaps a coffee and a piece of cake 😊

The village itself is one of the finest anywhere in the uk. It has its own pub, village shop a fantastic village cafe and a renowned fish and chip shop. There’s the remains of a castle and a historical abbey. Fantastic walks in all directions.
