3/4 bed Victorian terraced house in a quiet leafy street in the suburbs of London. A cosy home from home with a beautiful garden.

A spacious double master bedroom upstairs at the front of the house with a kingsize bed. A second bedroom / study at the back with a single adult sized raised bed. Third bedroom is the front room downstairs with a double bed. One bedroom upstairs is locked with our stuff in it.

Garden with terrace with table and chairs and parasol that seats six. Gas-fired combi boiler central heating. Well equipped kitchen with Miele appliances, range cooker, huge fridge, dishwasher and larder. Small circular glass table which seats thre, but can be pulled out to seat five. There is a small utility area behind the kitchen with a washing machine.

There is a bathroom at the back of the house downstairs, with a bath and shower, basin and loo. There is another loo upstairs with a big spacious vanity.

Close and easy transport links to Central London. Friendly area with lovely neighbours. Fields and a canal at the end of the road. Famous canal-side pub and fish and chips, walkable pub with wood fired pizza.

About the location

Hanwell is a hidden jewel in the suburbs, where life is a little slower and it hasn't been madly gentrified. It was recently voted one of the best places to live in London.

There are plenty of parks and fields nearby, and the grand Union Canal passes by very close, with houseboats and incredible bird life. In fact the 'flight' of 15 locks at Hanwell is world famous.

You can be in town in half an hour to an hour from Boston Manor tube station on the Piccadilly line / Ealing Broadway which is on the District and Circle line. The brand new Elizabeth Line stops at Hanwell and makes trips into the West End and the City very fast. In the other direction it's very fast to Heathrow Airport.

Parking is on-street and I can help you arrange a permit. I'm mainly looking for long swaps somewhere fun I can take our dogs to in the school holidays. We would love to be near a lake, river or beach, able to hike in mountains or explore a great city.
