Colourful and cosy Victorian terrace

Cosy two-up, two-down Victorian terrace in a quiet cul-de-sac not far from wetlands and local park. Our house has the usual layout for this era. Galley kitchen and bathroom at the back of the house, through the dining room. Kitchen is equipped with breadmaker, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. House opens into the hall and lounge is at the front of the house with TV.
Our little house is a colourful and quirky space that has been sympathetically modernised with retro furniture. It's an evolving process of DIY, so not a new-build perfect finish, but it is bright, comfortable, warm and welcoming.

Upstairs master bedroom has the bay window at the front with shabby chic white-painted floorboards. Second bedroom at the back of the house is our `home office` with excellent wi-fi so you could work from here if you needed to. The street is very quiet.

Small garden at the back is slightly larger than the usual courtyard. We have a reclaimed brick patio space with Victorian style bench and chairs in a sunny corner. Great place to relax with a glass of wine or breakfast coffee. It's a wild garden full of cottage garden plants.

About the location

A short walk into Leamington (15 mins) through the park across the river. Visit the Pump rooms, bandstand, coffee in the park. Three minutes from the canal for good walking/cycling and some reknowned graffiti. We are 10 mins from the train station with good links to Oxford, Birmingham and the Cotswolds.
Plenty of lovely country pubs within walking/cycling distance, The Red Lion Hunningham, the Saxon Mill. Visit Compton Verney art gallery and picnic or swim in the beautiful grounds.
Lots of individual, independent shops and places to eat and drink here. 3 miles from Warwick with its castle, river, parks and 11 miles from Stratford for the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, shopping, eating, boating. Close to Kenilworth castle and Waitrose, Bicester Village. Oxford and Birmingham are all less than an hour away and plenty of gastro pubs in nearby Cotswolds with its chocolate box views.
