My flat is a two bedroomed apartment in a purpose built - 1920`s - building. The building has a Tesco on the ground floor and only two flats so it is quiet and very secure. It has two spacious double bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen/diner and a bright and comfortable living room. It is well equipped - washer/dryer, fridge freezer, wifi, two televisions - and comfortably furnished and there is access to a roof terrace which is shared with one other flat.

It is the top flat so up three flights of stairs and probably not suitable for people who are mobility impaired.

About the location

Swains Lane is a bustling street with a range of local shops - butcher, fishmonger, greengrocer, bakery, chemist, newsagent, Tesco local,drycleaer, hairdresser; there are also several excellent cafes, restaurants and wine bars. It is a residential area and the flat is part of Holly Lodge Estate and residents are able to park on the estate.

There is easy access to central London with buses a few minutes walk away; Kentish Town Tube and National Rail Station are 15 minutes walk or 5-10 minutes on the bus; Gospel Oak Overground station is ten minutes walk away.

Hampstead Heath is a minutes walk from the flat - it is one of the largest open spaces in London with lovely walking, tennis courts, playgrounds, three natural swimming ponds, Parliament Hill Lido, Kenwood House all within easy reach. Both Hampstead and Highgate villages are a short walk or bus ride away. Camden Town market and its lively night life are also a short bus ride away.

The historic Highgate Cemetery is ten minutes walk away as is Lauderdale House which is in the attractive Waterlow park.
