The Byre

A converted cow barn located in a beautiful rural location 30 minutes from Glasgow and 20 minutes from Loch Lomond. A modern kitchen with island, large dining table, American fridge freezer, coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, wine fridge etc. One double bedroom, 1 young adults single bedroom with small double and a small single room for a child. Our living space is large but our bedrooms are on the smaller side. We have 2 living spaces, one is a relaxed TV/Play room and the other is a more adult space. All areas are recently renovated with a modern feel. One bathroom has a shower over bath and the other just a shower. Outside we have a private driveway, a small grassed area with some children's play things and we have a raised deck area for eating and relaxing. Our house is part of a courtyard set up with 3 other houses so although it is rural there are other houses very close by.

About the location

A rural location with easy walking access to the west highland way and John Muir way. The local village is 3 miles away and Glasgow is a 30 minute drive away and Edinburgh is an hour. A local woods is accessibly from the property and walks to local lochs and rivers. A car would be required due to the rural location. Great for exploring Loch Lomond and areas near there. In our village is a pub, post office library etc. a 10 minute drive takes you to Milngavie and Bearsden with shops, cafes, leisure centre, train station etc. Carbeth is a great base to explore the west of Scotland.
