About the location

We live just outside Halesworth, a quaint town with pedestrianised thoroughfare full of independent shops and home to The Cut, an arts/theatre venue. Great farm shop & garden centre a few minutes from the house. Halesworth has a train station and links to London (2 hours) and Norwich (1 hour).

We are lucky to live in this beautiful part of the country, 15/20 minutes from the coast for popular seaside town of Southwold and pretty villages of Walberswick, Dunwich. Gorgeous beaches & fabulous wetland & woodland walks in nature reserves including RSPB Minsmere (of Springwatch fame).

The nearby market towns of Bungay & Beccles are a 30 minute drive. Beccles has a fabulous outdoor heated swimming pool. To the south Framlingham Castle, Snape Maltings, Aldeburgh and Rendelsham Forest are highlights.

Norwich city is a 45 minute drive with a castle, cathedral and Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts to visit as well as the usual shops, restaurants and nightlife.
