A light-flooded studio with a separate entrance, overlooking a quiet, car-free terrace of gingerbread cottages and their gardens with Solsbury Hill (of Peter Gabriel fame) visible beyond the trees.

There is a separated bedroom area, a bathroom with shower, loo and washbasin and a galley kitchen with the basics in the living area.

It has recently been used to complete a painting commission, so artists and their activities are welcome! Unconventional but stylish!

About the location

The "village" is the most popular of the several satellite villages around Bath, as it is part of the Bath World Heritage Site and is a 20 minute level walk to the Abbey in the center of the city, with all that Bath has to offer of culture, architecture, restaurants etc.

The village is remarkable for its wealth of wonderful small businesses, including a Theatre, Flower School, Independent bookshop, a village hall with classes and courses, 2 cafe/restaurants, a deli, locally supplied greengrocer, hairdresser, petshop, takeaway, 3 pubs, chemist, post office, supermarket etc.

Without a car, Bath is easily accessed by a pleasant canal side walk or local bus service from the village. Trains and coaches reach London and Cardiff etc in a few hours. With a car, it is a perfect base for exploring Oxford and the Cotswolds.
