Cosy cottage on the edge of Bath

We have a four bedroom cottage, on the outskirts of the historical city of Bath. The property is semi-detached in a quiet village with local amenities and access to miles of countryside.

Usable accommodation consists of 2 double bedrooms, a single bedroom, a family bathroom and downstairs shower room. We also have two reception rooms, and a large kitchen with family dining area which opens onto a traditional country garden. In addition to this, we have utility room.

About the location

The cottage is situated in the centre of a a very quaint village, on the edge of Bath, with a traditional cottage garden and on-street parking. We are a walkable distance to the city centre (if you like a good walk!), otherwise it`s a 15 minute bus / taxi ride. There is a regular bus service adjacent to the property. The last bus back from the city centre is just before midnight, and costs just £3.75 return, so there`s no need to stress about traffic and parking.

The village itself has a community shop, which is open 7 days a week, as well as a pub. The village is surrounded by countryside so ideal for those who enjoy exploring by foot. We are within very easy reach of the canal, and also the very beautiful town of Bradford-On-Avon. We are also fairly close to some of the prettiest Wiltshire villages such as Castle Combe and Lacock. A true tourist hotspot, but equally, a very peaceful retreat.
