Southover

Our house is a semi detached house built in 1931, renovated to a high standard in 2019. It is situated in a quiet road without through traffic.

The accommodation consists of two open plan sitting rooms on the ground floor with an open plan kitchen, on this floor there is a utility room & cloakroom with WC.

On the first floor there are two bedrooms, one en suite. The en suite bedroom has a king size bed. The second bedroom a double bed. There is a bathroom situated next to the second bedroom. The roof area has been converted to provide a study with two desks and a futon.

There is a wood burning stove & underfloor heating on the ground floor. The first and second floor are heated by a mixture of radiators and underfloor heating.

There is a good size south facing garden with tables & chairs for sitting and lounging.

About the location

We live in a small historic town situated in the middle of the Downs, close to Brighton & within the South Downs National Park. The train station is approximately 10 minutes walk away, from where you can catch a train to London (1 hour 10 minutes) & many places on the south coast. The coast is 7 miles away & if you like outdoor swimming there is an open air lido in the town. In addition to the normal supermarkets, there are independent shops, restaurants and an `art house` cinema.
