Hi,
We are a multi-cultural family :
French (myself),
British Indian Londoner (my partner) and
our 19-year-old son, bilingual French-Englsih with an interest in other languages and cultures and in social and climate justice.
Our 19-year-old will be starting a position as a European Solidarity Corps volunteer in Brussels at the end of May 2025 and we are trying to help him find an accomodation for the start of his new position.
This seems to be rather challenging so far.
As we are owners of a large house in London which will be vacated by current tenants around the same time and that we haven't commited to a rental contract yet, I thought of asking you whether you'd be open to some sort of exchange.
We'd happily welcome you either in France or in our London house (which might be of more interest to your family and easy to reach for a short or longer stay).
Also, if you'd consider hosting our very sociable son for a couple of weeks, this would allow him some time to find a longer-term accomodation.
At the moment, I have a free membership on GuardianHomeExchange unitl 20/05/25 and limited to 10 messages therefore please keep this in mind if you are interested.
