Ma & Pa's Shed

A small two bedroom cottage with a bathroom with shower and toilet, small open plan kitchen/dining & lounge, two small bedrooms and nestled on 10 acres in the Karangahake Gorge, humble, cosy, clean, with all amenities provided. Close to Auckland, Hamilton & Tauranga. Bathe in your private outdoor bath, there are chickens, goats, sheep and cows on the property, as well as our own bee hive we also have a chihuahua and two cat's. This is not a flash or fancy place, but its clean, pretty and comfortable.

About the location

Visit the Fall's Retreat restaurant at the foot of our property and enjoy the Karangahake Gorge historic railway walk, steeped in gold mining history and with some of the best scenery in New Zealand. This location is great for nature and cycling enthusiasts with some of the best beaches in NZ providing opportunities for luscious day trips creating fabulous memories in our beautiful country. Being on the doorstep of the Coromandel Peninsula, famously known as the playground of the north island of New Zealand. This property is next door to the owners, who if they are in the country, are warm, welcoming and love to share our piece of paradise and share with you the experience a traditional Māori hāngi as our guests.
