1 step up from outside, the ground floor which provides a living room, kitchen utility space and small cloakroom with garden access onto a timber deck facing the afternoon sun. You are welcome to to use any ripe fruit from the trees while you are staying. My office occupies the only street facing ground floor room and will not be accessible. The WiFi access code for high speed internet access will be attached to the TV.

Upstairs are bedrooms and the bathroom.

The car on the driveway can be available by arrangement, as will be a man`s bicycle stored in thr garage.

About the location

Wythenshawe was once a village to the South of Manchester which took its name from Wythenshawe Hall, a 16th-century timber-framed historic former manor house around 5 miles (8.0 km) South of the city centre. The parklands associated with the Manor House still exist as Wythenshawe Park. Built for Robert Tatton, it was home to the Tatton family for almost 400 years. There is a statue to the honour of Oliver Crmwell in the grounds.

Now a leafy suburb of Greater Manchester, Wythenshawe provides good access to both Manchester Centre and the Airport via the local Metrolink (tram) service reaching either destination within around 40minutes. the nearest stop to my house is possibly Wythenshawe Park. There are local shops within walking distance and a selection of supermarkets a short bike ride away (or ten minutes by car). Taking the tram to Manchester centre gives access to the major departmental stores and cultural interests.

Manchester enjoys a wealth of cultural activities including sports arenas, museums, art galleries, theatres and concert halls. Manchester is also home to two major univeresities as well as specialist reseafch centres.

The city centre also boasts two major railway terminii, providing local access to nearby beautispots as well as both towns and cities throughout the UK.
