We have a clean, cosy and comfortable home in the town of Albany Western Australia, perfectly positioned for exploring the local area as well as the Porongorups and Stirling Range National Park. Nearby towns of Mt Barker and Denmark are within a short drive.

We have a kitchen and dining areas plus an outdoors patio with a BBQ. Our home has the usual items, smart TV’s, Internet, solar HWS, air conditioning x 2. Our home is on a level block with no stairs. We have both a lockup garage and off street parking.

Our bedrooms both have queen sized beds, one bathroom, but 2 separate WC's.

Outside, you will find a well landscaped no maintenance native garden with flowerings most of the year round.

About the location

Albany is a city at the southern tip of Western Australia. Its has beautiful beaches, stunning coastline views, nearby very tall Jarrah forests, wineries.

We are in the centre of Albany with good cafes, restaurants, pubs, a chemist, and a 3 x supermarkets within a 5 minute driving range. Just a little further (10 mins) we have several beaches with cafes/breweries nearby. We are the home of the world famous ANZAC Centre (Gallipoli fame). Just 15 minutes away we have the The Gap, the Natural Bridge and a historic Whaleworld. If you are into swimming, fishing, scuba diving we have 20 beaches withing 30 minutes of town. If you are after nature/bush walking we have 2 x national parks nearby with endless walking trails. Depending on the time of year we are on the whale migration path, humpback and Southern Right whales cruise past. There whale watching tours most days (in season). The Kalgan Queen Scenic Tours in Albany cruises up the Kalgan River, the skipper is a local with endless history. A little further away at Walpole Gary Muir (long time local) has cruises on the Nornalup Inlet. We have the Tree Top Walk where you can walk amongst the canopy of the very tall trees.

Our lovely town park hosts free musical performances during the summer, and the community is welcoming and friendly. Most weekends we have farmers markets (produce must come within a 20km area) and general markets (food stalls and home crafts). Once a month we have a home craft market (very talented ladies).



Our nearest "big town" is Perth – a 4 hour drive. The bonus, we are a small country town without the city pressure. There are several fab restaurants in Albany and surrounding areas. We have chocolate and cheese factories nearby. Just 30 minutes up the road we have the Gold Plated Mt Barker Bakery with up to 30 different pies.

Within 30 minutes we have beaches which you can have all to yourself for endless wandering.
