Brynffynnon is a large Victorian rectory in the centre of the beautiful town of Dolgellau.

Situated in Snowdonia National Park and surrounded by mountains, woodlands and amazing walks, runs, bike trails, lakes and scenery, Dolgellau has many shops, restaurants and pubs to enjoy and is well served by buses to other towns, Barmouth is a twenty minute car ride with an amazing beach culture along with many other beaches easily accessible by car or bus. The North Wales coast is spectacular any day of the year.

The hall is welcoming with sweeping staircase doors to pool room, lounge, dining room, laundry room and rear hallway leading to the TV room, kitchen and door to garden. All rooms have original features and high ceilings.

There are four large bedrooms on the first floor, three with king beds and one with twin beds. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and great views across the town and of the mountains beyond being at the foot of the Cader Idris range.

About the location

Dolgellau is situated in Snowdonia National Park, a small town at the base of Cadair Idris mountain range.

We are 200 yards from the centre of town, a short walk to the many shops, pubs and restaurants. Dolgellau is a lively friendly town, The Welsh coast is just a twenty minute drive away, buses are available in the town centre.

The house is situated close to the Coed y Brenin forest, an ancient rainforest which has a variety of hiking routes and mountain bike trails.
