About the location
Richmond is a historic market town at the foot of Swaledale, widely regarded as the most beautiful of the Yorkshire Dales. We're on the Coast to Coast path, and there are many other walking and cycling routes nearby.
The house is a short walk from Richmond Castle (one of the earliest in England), the market place (where the local buses all stop) and the River Swale with Richmond Falls.
The town has a good selection of pubs and restaurants, a small cinema and a theatre, the Georgian Theatre Royal.
