End terrace, in small quiet village.

Our home is an end terrace of two blocks of Tide homes around 100 years old.
There is one pub in the village and little else. i.e. no shops
We are five miles from the town of Oundle (good for most shopping) and next village to the famous village of Fotheringhay.

About the location

Group of attractive villages with pubs similar to the Cotswolds but without the tourists.
Set in the Nene valley of the Rockingham forest area.
Wooded rather than forest would be a better description.
Plenty of easy walking and very popular for cycling.
