Warm and comfortable home with stunning river views

Built in the 1970's, our home overlooks the Saint John River with two decks and comfortable seating and eating spaces. We have a large open concept kitchen and lounge. three comfortable bedrooms and a walk out basement with its own large deck. The photos will not show our new paint job- the decorators arrive in two weeks- but we will maintain our calm and comfortable atmosphere.

About the location

Morna Heights is a very quiet suburb about 20 minutes from the center of Saint John. Once you are in our home, you will feel as if you are a million miles from any city. We guarantee that you will see bald eagles circling overhead as you sit on our deck and you can swim or use our canoe from our small, rocky beach. We swim every day in the summer, and, in the winter we skate on the lake across the street. The autumn colours are spectacular here, and it is even fun to sit by our windows and watch storms approach.
We are twenty minutes drive from white sand ocean beaches and spectacular ocean hiking trails.
Saint John is Canada's oldest incorporated city. There are many delightful restaurants and cafes and a market that is open 6 days a week and about to celebrate its 150th anniversary. Our downtown is known for its Victorian architecture with many celebrated brownstones and churches. Our parks and walking trails are delightful. ay trips to the Grand Manan Islands (http://grandmanannb.com ),Fundy National Park (http:www.pc.gc.ca/eng/pn-np/nb/fundy/index.aspx )and the provincial capital Fredericton are well worthwhile. The famous Reversing Falls, created by the world's highest tides are only 10 minutes drive away.
